Another routine activity is getting dressed. First observe your habitual pattern of getting dressed up. For instance, which leg do you use first when wearing the trouser or what hand do you first use when wearing a shirt or a jacket. These are opportunities to be more aware of the dressing up process.
Observe touch sensations, movements of limbs and body and every single step of getting dressed up. If you are a lady the process of doing makeup is a good moment to practice mindfulness.
Once you see yourself in the mirror observe what goes on in your mind. What you feel about yourself, about the dress etc. Here again the objective is to come to the present moment.
