Choose a Practice that suits you
It is very easy to develop the skill of mindfulness by learning how to bring your mind to the present moment. You can do this by trying to come to the present moment by using the day to day activities of your life. In the next few pages there are twenty examples or practices to illustrate this point. When you go through them you will realize though the examples and practices are many the method is the same. You can of course choose the ones that suit you best. What I want to impress upon you is that you can use every moment you are awake can be used to develop the skill of mindfulness.
You will discover that some are more effective than others. Let your own discoveries guide you to intensify practices suggested in this book as well as those you will discover.
